“Sitting for the road” (посидеть на дорожку) is an old Soviet tradition of taking a moment to just…sit. Before any trip of significance, our parents packed the suitcases, put on their shoes, and then told us to Sit For The Road. You can use that moment to picture your destination, make a wish, say a little prayer for safety, visualize arriving to your destination, remember what you’ve forgotten to pack….or just sit quietly. The point is - whatever you do - sitting for the road brings your trip Luck. And that is exactly what we need…
